Terms of Use
Effective date: October 13, 2026
These Terms of Use apply to your use of the MyReflect app and this website. By installing or using MyReflect you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
1. What MyReflect is
MyReflect is a personal app for noticing how you're doing: day ratings, feelings, journal and gratitude entries, and optional trackers for sleep, habits, water, periods, a weekly mantra and goals. Some features may be marked as beta. They can change or be removed.
2. Not medical advice
MyReflect is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and it does not replace advice from a doctor, therapist or other qualified professional. Insights and charts show patterns in what you entered. They are not assessments of your health. If you are worried about your health or in crisis, please contact a professional or local emergency services.
3. Your account
You can use the app without an account. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping your login details and your app password safe. Please give correct information when you register. You can delete your account at any time in the app.
4. Your content
The entries you make are yours. We do not claim any ownership of them. By syncing entries to your account, you allow us to store and process them only to provide the app to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable use
Please use MyReflect only for lawful, personal purposes. Don't try to break, overload or reverse engineer the app, and don't attempt to access other people's accounts or data, except where the law expressly allows it.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep MyReflect available, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, pause or discontinue features or the whole app. If we plan to discontinue the app, we will aim to give you reasonable notice so you can keep your entries.
7. Google Play
You get the app through Google Play. Google's terms apply to downloading and updating it. Google is not responsible for the app or for support for it.
8. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, and where mandatory law requires it (for example under the Product Liability Act). For slight negligence, we are liable only for breach of an essential obligation, meaning one that the app's proper use depends on and that you can regularly rely on, and only for the typically foreseeable damage. Otherwise our liability is excluded. This does not affect your mandatory consumer rights.
9. Termination
You can stop using MyReflect at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, after giving you a chance to respond where that is reasonable.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when features change. We will post the new version here with a new effective date, and tell you in the app if the change is significant. If you keep using MyReflect after the change takes effect, the new terms apply to you, unless the law requires your explicit agreement.
11. Governing law
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
